Like many writers, I fell in love with the written word as a child, when my mother read to me and brought bedtime stories to life.
As I grew, my mother instilled in me the importance of words - the right words. Words, she said, should not be taken lightly. Words have the power to transform: to hurt and to heal; to bring comfort and to bring pain. Words give life to thought and bring thought to action. A single word, my mother said, can change everything.
We writers never know how, or if, a story we've crafted will touch a reader. But it's my hope that what you find here will prove to be educational, enlightening, entertaining and, if I'm lucky, maybe even inspirational.
