The site includes a glimpse into who I am as a writer and editor, as well as how I came to be one of the lucky ones who earns a living by stringing words together to tell a story. The links above will help guide you through the site, which includes some professional and personal background information, as well as samples of my work, and references from those with whom I have worked over the years. Information about my novel
For Every Goodbye, is available on the Fiction page.
Donna Gable Hatch
editor, writer, artist

Like many writers, I fell in love with the written word as a child, when my mother read to me and brought bedtime stories to life.

As I grew, my mother instilled in me the importance of words - the right words. Words, she said, should not be taken lightly. Words have the power to transform: to hurt and to heal; to bring comfort and to bring pain. Words give life to thought and bring thought to action. A single word, my mother said, can change everything.

We writers never know how, or if, a story we've crafted will touch a reader. But it's my hope that what you find here will prove to be educational, enlightening, entertaining and, if I'm lucky, maybe even inspirational.
